Paying attention to the type of watershed in Iranian toilets is a significant measure when buying these products. The so-called “Rim” in Iranian toilets is a canal on the periphery of the toilet bowl which is not visible. The required water for washing is flowing from this channel and into the toilet bowl. Iranian toilets are equipped with two types of watersheds:

1- Closed Rim

This watershed, which is most commonly found in modern Iranian toilets, is such that there are holes at certain intervals along the drainage channel to allow water to flow after entering the watershed, and then from holes of regular intervals, uniformly and cascadingly In the bowl and in the bowl, clean and wash the hygiene. 2- Open Rim

A simpler type is the type of waterfall in Iranian toilets. This waterfall, which is most commonly found in older toilets, has an open channel with no regular holes, which immediately flows into the depth of the bowl immediately after entering the canal.
